Tools and Methods

TEAM CONSULT has developed a portfolio of tools and methods, which guarantee a quick, competent in-depth analysis.

• One of the core model is our net-back-model for the German gas market, which could easily be adjusted and applied to other international markets.
  
• The model describes the mechanism of gas prices based on the principle of opportunity costs in comparison to competing fuels.
• Considering the demand structure, transport, storage and modulation costs, it simulates the market value of the gas towards the end-user market in comparison to the German border price (GBP: average import price published the German Federal Statistical Office).
